Temperature preference of the amphipods inhabiting Ice Cave #1. When presented with a water temperature gradient, specimens spent most of the time swimming in water at 14.4 °C. Specimens showed a strong and immediate aversion to temperatures higher than about 18.5 °C, but not to low temperatures, with specimens walking directly on ice.
