Collecting sites of epigean populations of Rhamdia sampled in this study 1 Quebrada El Túnel (at Gabinarraca cave entrance) 2 Quebrada El Túnel (further downstream from Gabinarraca cave entrance) 3 Río Pataste 4 Río Arenal 5 Quebrada Palma, and 6 Quebrada Altamira.
